Peyton carmichael

Peyton Carmichael is a writer and artist living in Birmingham, Alabama and also Greenville, Alabama, down south of Montgomery and Selma, so we’re talking SOUTH. Her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the southeast, including the High Museum in Atlanta and The Jacob Javits Center in New York. Carmichael graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Alabama and was awarded the Silver Bowl for Literature in 1985 at the Birmingham Festival of Arts. She has illustrated several books, including The Donkey’s Tales, The Donkey’s Easter Tale and The Donkey of Tarsus, published by Pelican Publishing and available on Amazon. Her love of mystery and detection stories led her to write some of her own: The Haunting of Hood’s Bluff, Death at the Rectory and Death by Footnote, also available on Amazon.
